After a successful debut last year, The Game Awards are returning on December 3rd. The show will feature a mixture of world premiere trailers and on-stage awards, giving credit to the year’s best games while looking forward to the future.

Geoff Keighley, the show’s producer, recently held a Q & A event on Periscope, during which he hinted that late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata will be honored in some way during the proceedings. No specifics were given, as Keighley doesn’t want the moment to be ruined. During the recent Golden Joystick Awards, Satoru Iwata was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
