Starting in 2014, Geoff Keighley separated from video game award shows of the past in order to start one of his own. Simply christened “The Game Awards,” the show was well received and returned again last December with a number of improvements and a bigger focus on the awards themselves. Now, with E3 starting up in just a few days, Keighley has taken to Twitter to confirm that there will indeed be a third Game Awards show. All we know for now is that it will return on December 1, 2016, with more details promised to be revealed as the summer progresses.
Will you be tuning in to the third annual Game Awards? Which games are you hoping will win awards, and what new reveals would you like to see? Let us know in the comments!
