Back in the early 1990s, a failed partnership between Nintendo and Phillips resulted in the latter acquiring the rights to develop and publish three Legend of Zelda games on their Phillips CD-i console. The unholy trinity of games that Phillips released have been universally panned and harshly criticized, but they’ve attracted a dedicated cult following on YouTube thanks to their hilariously bad cutscenes.
C4DNerd decided to have a little fun with the infamous games, and they’ve put together a trailer for (non-existent) HD remakes of Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. The trailer recreates cutscenes and gameplay from the twin games in 3D and “HD” animation. It’s everything you never knew you needed, and you can watch by clicking above.
