IO Interactive revealed at the PlayStation Experience today that the Hitman beta will begin February 12, 2016, on PlayStation 4 and is available to those that have preordered the game. Additionally, “The Sarajevo Six” will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version of the game, which brings six additional contracts to PlayStation and releases on March 11 when the game launches next year. The first three will be available on release, whereas the remaining three will be released throughout 2016.

The Hitman beta is set 20 years prior to the other Hitman games and follows the missions revealing how Agent 47 gets recruited into the organization. IO Interactive says that it is a “moment of huge interest to fans” and will be welcoming for newcomers of the franchise.

In other Hitman news, it was also announced that Hitman GO, the highly revered mobile title, is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in the future.
