Nintendo’s HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess hits stores this week, and reviews are starting to roll in. Although the game is a somewhat divisive entry in the franchise, it seems that most critics have been won over by the revival. Hanging out with the least human version of Zelda and the objectively best sidekick in the franchise is still fun after a decade. Reviews are averaging out around the 8 range, a markdown from the title’s original run. However, the less enthusiastic response seems to be rooted in the Twilight Princess‘s reevaluation instead of the actual updates made to the game.

Destructoid: 8/10

IGN: 8.6/10

Nintendo Life: 9/10

Nintendo World Report: 9/10

Polygon: 8/10

Shacknews: 7/10

USgamer: 4/5

And the only review you’ll ever need is still in the works. Stay tuned for Gamnesia’s take on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.
