One of E3’s biggest draws every year is its many conferences from the leaders of the gaming industry. Last year saw the debut of several such events, but at the time no promises were given that any of these new shows would come back for E3 2016. Well, we learned a few weeks back that Bethesda would be hosting a conference again this year, and now another event been confirmed to return: the PC Gaming Show.
A few changes have already been announced for the 2016 version of this event, the first of which is the date and time. Where last year’s Gaming Show served as the final conference of the week, taking place after E3 had already officially opened its doors, this time PC Gamer will take advantage of EA’s absence and hold their Gaming Show on Monday, June 3rd, at 12:00 PM PST. They’ve also confirmed that they will try to cut down on the length of their conference, as last year’s two-and-a-half hour event became quite tedious by the end.
“With the help of all the feedback and support everyone gave the event in 2015, we’re looking forward to bringing you an even better show than last year. In 2015 it was really important to us to get a big variety of participants on stage to help convey the spectrum of exciting stuff happening on PC, but an inevitable effect of that was that we ran quite long. This year’s show will be more focused, but packed with tons of new announcements and exclusive reveals.”
