Recently there’s been a lot of talk about Nintendo expanding beyond video games to create video content like TV shows and movies. If you lived through the late 80s and early 90s, you know this isn’t the first time Nintendo has dabbled in this arena. Nintendo used to have a handful of animated properties, including the 1989 Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
Whether your nostalgia is urging you to revisit this zany classic or you’ve never been introduced to it in the first place, we’ve got some great news! The Super Mario Bros. Super Show has just been uploaded to Netflix in its entirety. Starting today, you can stream all 52 episodes of the classic show, including Butch Mario & The Luigi Kid, Two Plumbers and a Baby, Mario and Juliet, and The Adventures of Sherlock Mario.
This isn’t the first time Nintendo has brought the Super Show to Netflix. It originally hit the streaming service in 2012, but was later removed. Hopefully it’s here to stay this time.
