13AM Games, the developer of Runbow, is releasing a brand new arcade game called Pirate Pop Plus. The game promises to be a “super addictive” bubble-bursting game, in a classic 8-bit arcade style with chiptune music. You play as Pete Jr., who wakes up one day to find that everyone in his town has been trapped in bubbles by his arch-nemesis Bubble Pirate. It is up to you to free the townsfolk by throwing your anchor, but gameplay can get a bit more complex when your enemy starts switching gravity.

The game launches on October 20th for Wii U and 3DS and comes to Steam on November 4th. It will be available for cross-buy on Wii U and 3DS, and you can get a
Pirate Pop Plus 3DS theme on the North American Theme Shop now.
