Amiibo, Nintendo’s video game compatible figurines, have been a huge success so far. Over 5.7 million Amiibo have been sold to date, and recent data shows they are particularly popular in North America. Speaking with investors, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata revealed that 63% of Amiibo sales have come from the US and Canada. Europe accounted for another 23% of Amiibo sales, while only 11% of the sales came from Nintendo’s home country of Japan. You can check out a pie chart of sales by region by clicking below!
