It appears that Project X Zone 2: Brave New World will be receiving a full localization and will be “basically” the same game that was released in Japan, according to Monolith Soft’s Koji Itshitani. Unlike the game’s predecessor, Project X Zone, which shipped overseas with some modified art design and music changes, it seems that we will be receiving this sequel the way it was intended to be played when it launches next year.
Koji Ishitani revealed that all of the content in Project X Zone 2 will be “basically the same in the Japanese version and the overseas versions.” The game has also been translated into several different languages, including German, Italian, and Korean, though not every region will have each language available. North America will only be getting English, French, and Spanish. Europe will receive two additional languages (German and Italian), South Korea will only have a Korean language, and Taiwan and Hong Kong will only have a Japanese option.
Project X Zone 2: Brave New World will be available on February 16, 2016 in North America and on February 19th in Europe, and it is now available in Japan.
