Yo-kai Watch burst onto the scene as a competitor to Pokémon back in 2013 and quickly sold millions. These days the series has lost some of its popularity, but it’s still alive and kicking in Japan. Along with the game series, Japan continues to air a Yo-kai Watch anime, and a recently introduced character is making waves for its…questionable design.

This lovely creature goes by the name Zundoumaru. He first debuted in the mobile game Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, but after appearing in the anime, he began to cause some trouble for the franchise. Zundoumaru, who is described as having “a weakness for women,” was a cylindrical pot in a ramen restaurant in life, before turning into a Yo-kai, which explains the placement of his…erm…spout.

Since the episode featuring Zundoumaru aired, Infoseek reports that Japan’s Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization has been receiving complaints from concerned parents. It’s not hard to see why. In the series of images in the tweet below, Zundomaru is seen blasting enemies with “water with a special ingredient” from his spout. Oh boy.
