This Fan Creates Amazing Mashups of Video Game Music with Famous Hip-Hop Songs

Do you enjoy video game music? Do you enjoy Hip-Hop? Do you enjoy both? Well, if you answered yes to any of those questions, you should check out the work Team Teamwork has been putting out. Though they have other work as well, Team Teamwork has created a couple of albums which feature video game music remixed and popular hip-hop songs placed as the lyrics. You can hear MF Doom rap over the horse racing music from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Perhaps you would prefer Ludacris’ “Roll Out” with Guile’s Theme from Street Fighter. Best of all, you can get it all for free!

Team Teamwork has tackled
Ocarina of Time with the album Ocarina of Rhyme and Final Fantasy 7 with Vinyl Fantasy 7. You can find a mixture of familiar video game tunes remixed with various rap artists on Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis. His most recent work is Katamari Da-Emcee, which is of course based off Katamari. One of my personal favorites is above: Common’s “I Used to Love H.E.R.” mixed with the Hyrule Market theme.

You can find Team Teamwork’s music for a “name your own price” deal at
his website here.
