We covered the buzzed about indie horror title Allison Road when it first came into the attention of the public. Recently, a prototype gameplay trailer was released, and it proves that Allison Road will make a mark on the horror genre in gaming. The trailer is 13 minutes long, and it showcases multiple aspects of the game, including its sound effects and unnerving music. It also acts as a great example of the power the Unreal Engine 4 has to offer.

It should be noted that this trailer is not actually part of the game. Though the trailer stays true to the central events of the game, it is designed to give you a taste of what the game has to offer and the overall tone and experience of the final product. It also shows you how you will be able to interact with objects, equip certain ones, and stow them in your inventory. We also get a look near the end of the video at the antagonist you will be going up against, and she is just a bit creepy.

Allison Road is set to release in 2016.

Alan Wake changed my life forever. I'm not afraid to admit my undying love for Animal Crossing. I plan to devote my life to writing and art. I have been playing video games since about the age of three and they have stayed my greatest passion. I began writing in high school through poetry and became interested in writing as a career going into college. I hope you enjoy reading what I post and to keep up with me follow me on Twitter or Instagram @artisticishalex. Peace.
