It was announced earlier this month that Hyrule Warriors Legends would contain a new feature that is not in the Wii U title. The “My Fairy” system appears in Adventure Mode and introduces various fairies to aid players in battle. These fairies can be fed different meals to change their personality and can be customized through costumes.

Next month, Japan is getting a special edition New 3DS XL called the Hyrule Gold Edition. It has been revealed that those who buy one of the systems will receive a free download code to be used in Hyrule Warriors Legends which unlocks Link’s Classic Tunic, a costume inspired by 1986’s The Legend of Zelda. The costume can also be used on the player’s fairy through the “My Fairy” mode.

There’s no word yet on the download code coming to the West, but fingers crossed Nintendo will let us know soon!
