Have you been thirsting for the return of some strategic, tropical, dictatorial city-building fun to a console? Well, that thirst will soon be quenched, as Tropico 5 is set to have a PlayStation 4 release later this year, on March 31st (according to GameStop). Sony has released a short trailer displaying what you can expect from the popular city-building simulator coming to the console, complete with grooving Cuban music.

Tropico 5 was well received back in mid-2014 by both critics and fans when it released for PC and Xbox 360. Compared to the 360 version, you can expect shorter load times and enhanced graphics. The trailer above shows a few of the mechanics you can expect from the PS4 port. Anything new? Or should the video just stand on its own?

Are you looking forward to Tropico coming to Playstation 4? Do you think it will provide an experience more like it is on PC compared to the 360? Let us know in the comments below!

Alan Wake changed my life forever. I'm not afraid to admit my undying love for Animal Crossing. I plan to devote my life to writing and art. I have been playing video games since about the age of three and they have stayed my greatest passion. I began writing in high school through poetry and became interested in writing as a career going into college. I hope you enjoy reading what I post and to keep up with me follow me on Twitter or Instagram @artisticishalex. Peace.
