Remember the mega-popular Twitch Plays Pokémon “social experiment?” In case you don’t or were never a part of it to begin with, a Twitch streamer set up an emulator with Pokémon Red but found a way to make the emulator interpret comments as inputs. This naturally led to a comical catastrophe in which the player would go everywhere but intended. This eventually led to a democracy system being put in place to only accept the most popular comments as inputs. This finally let the mass audience beat the game after more than 13 full days of playtime.
YouTube user “lightsen” took it upon himself to recreate the people’s journey through short animations. The first episode is up right now and I personally think it’s hilarious!
