For the past few weeks, leaks have popped up that revealed a new remastering of Assassin’s Creed II and its sequel stories, Brotherhood and Revelations, for current generation consoles, and today Ubisoft finally confirmed that this is true. Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection will recreate the three adventures of master assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and we don’t have long to wait—the game will launch in North America on November 15th, and containing the three games, their single-player DLC, and the two shorts the bookend Ezio’s adventures: Assassin’s Creed Embers and Lineage.
One thing that won’t be making the cut this time is the multiplayer components of Brotherhood and Revelations, allegedly to keep the focus on Ezio and his own personal journey. If that’s got you a bit disappointed, perhaps you can take comfort in a limited-time offer that comes with ordering this game: a free ticket to the Assassin’s Creed movie that’s coming in December. Or you can check out The Ezio Collection‘s reveal trailer, which we’ve embedded above!
Additionally, Ubisoft took this opportunity to announce that the Assassin’s Creed series has now moved 100 million copies, which is an outstanding milestone for the franchise. No doubt that jump will only jump higher, especially with this new collection bringing us back to the fan favorite trilogy of titles. Will you be grabbing The Ezio Collection for yourself?
