Ubisoft has a hell of a time keeping Assassin’s Creed games under wraps leading up to E3. While Origins leaked because of a promotional T-shirt last year, this year’s title leaked via a keychain. After the leaked merchandise triggered a series of articles about the rumored game, Ubisoft decided to step forward and officially confirm the game’s existence with a brief teaser.
According to the earlier reports (which this footage basically confirms), Odyssey is set in Ancient Greece. Other rumored details include the ability to choose a male or female character and the addition of dialogue options. The game is said to be a sequel to Origins set to launch sometime before the end of March, 2019.
We’ll find out whether or not all of the leaked info is true soon, as Ubisoft will be bringing the game to E3. Ubisoft’s press conference will be held on Monday, June 11th at 1:00 PM Pacific / 4:00 PM Eastern. We’ll be covering it all live here at Gamnesia, so tune in to find out more about Odyssey!
