ShopTo, an online retailer in the United Kingdom, has begun taking preorders on Nintendo’s upcoming line of NFC enabled amiibo figurines. Although there is no release date listed, a price is given to the figures of Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Peach, Zelda, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Samus, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Pit, Fox, and Marth.

Each figure costs £12.85. That’s converts to $21.87. That’s a lot of money. Previously, Reggie stated that amiibo figures would stay in a price range similar to the Skylanders franchise, which amounts to a range of ten to fifteen dollars a pop.

Strangely enough, ShopTo lists figures compatible with the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U separately. Nintendo previously stated amiibo figures would work across both platforms.

What amiibo figures will you be buying? Sound off in the comments.
