The next piece of free Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End DLC came as a surprise yesterday in the form a free new multiplayer map. This new map, called New Devon, is located in the overgrown ruins. New Devon features all the best parts of Uncharted 4‘s multiplayer including grappling hooks, tons of cover, and open space for better sniping opportunities. In addition, the update containing the new map will be launching with a variety of changes to gameplay.

Currently, DLC is planned through Spring 2017, including a new co-op function this fall. All this DLC can also be unlocked for free through normal gameplay and is being provided without charge in an effort to keep the community from fragmenting. Several other games have been taking this approach as well, including
Halo 5 and the upcoming Gears of War 4. Who knows what this DLC could do for the Uncharted community, but this writer sure can’t wait to see!

Will you be playing this new free map? Let us know in the comments!
