A pair of talented female comic book artists working under the pen name of Akira Himekawa have been releasing manga adaptations for years now, re-imagining the stories of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, Four Swords Adventures, The Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and Twilight Princess.

If you’ve missed out on these gems in the past, you’re in luck! VIZ Media has just announced that
The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition manga series will be kicking off this November. Every two months, VIZ will be releasing two complete volumes of Akira Himekawa’s Legend of Zelda manga (complete with a new cover featuring new artwork), starting with parts one and two of Ocarina of Time.

The release will carry a print MSRP of $17.99 U.S. / $21.99 CAN. These regular releases will continue until five sets of volumes are available. The first volume is now available for preorder on
Amazon and Amazon Canada, but at slightly higher prices than what the press release indicated. Amazon also lists Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons as the next volume to be released, and those can be preordered on Amazon and Amazon Canada as well.
