Wii U hasn’t sold as well as Nintendo had anticipated, and it certainly hasn’t been the sales phenomenon that Wii was, but Nintendo has continued to show support for their first ever HD console. As part of Nintendo’s quarterly report to investors, it was revealed that Wii U has eclipsed 10 million units globally, and currently sits at 10.01 million hardware units sold with 61.23 million accompanying software sales. It took Wii U about two years and seven months on the market to hit this milestone.
