After seeing Sea of Thieves in action at this year’s E3, many fans are desperate to get their hands on the game. At the E3’s GameStop show, Xbox’s Adam Greenberg stated that Rare was aiming for a February 2017 release. Yesterday, the Xbox Australia account published a tweet saying that the game is indeed getting a February 2017 release, but the tweet was quickly taken down. Greenberg replied by saying that he’s happy to see people excited for the game; however, they have not officially announced a launch date yet.

Perhaps the game is set to come out in February but Rare wants to play it safe. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
