While Sony
is surely enjoying the PlayStation 4’s climb to the top, the Xbox One isn’t too
far behind. Xbox Corporate Vice President of Marketing, Strategy and Business
Yusuf Mehdi has revealed that since its launch in late November, the Xbox One has
managed to sell 3 million units to customers across 13 countries.

In
addition, while we may have looked strangely at the idea of the console as a
multimedia device, Mehdi has indicated that the Xbox One’s additional features have certainly been used, claiming
that “millions of hours of live TV have
been watched and millions of hours of app entertainment have been enjoyed”.

Now we’re just waiting for exact figures.
