It’s been exactly one year to the day since Playtonic Games launched Yooka-Laylee, a spiritual successor to 3D platformers like Banjo-Kazooie. The nostalgia-fueled game was met with mixed reviews at launch, but Playtonic has addressed some of the biggest complaints with patches. If you’ve skipped out on Yooka-Laylee thus far, today is your chance to pick it up without breaking your wallet.
If you live in Europe, the PlayStation store is offering
Yooka-Laylee for 32% off its normal price. The game is normally priced at £34.99, but right now you can pick it up for £23.79. If you have a PlayStation Plus account, that discount doubles to 64%, bringing the price down to just over £12. Outside of Europe, Best Buy is also offering a deal on Yooka-Laylee. You can currently snag the buddy-platformer at Best Buy for just $19.99 on either Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
