A Wii U emulator called Cemu for Windows PC now includes graphic packs that allow players to run games in 4K. The creators had trouble getting the Wii U games to re-render at a higher resolution, but now they have finally cracked it. Backers of the Cemu Patreon can access the graphic packs now, and they’ll be available to the general public on January 16th.

YouTuber
reznoire uploaded some footage of games such as Mario Kart 8, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Bayonetta 2 running in stunning 4K. Check them out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Hey there! I'm Josephine, a Scottish journalism student and a Junior Editor at Gamnesia. I'm here because I love to write, and I love games. Isn't that just the perfect combination for this site? My favourites are The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing and Telltale games.
