One of my favorite things about Nintendo is their ability to hide little easter eggs within their new developments. I was blown away, for instance, when I learned that “Ballad of the Goddess” from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was a backwards version of “Zelda’s Lullaby.” The upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a few of these easter eggs hidden in it as well. Last year, it was discovered that the “Song of Time” can be heard near the Temple of Time if you listen carefully.

Earlier this month, a new audio easter egg was found by YouTuber tmo. If you listen carefully to the “Hyrule Fields” theme as you roam around, you might be able to pick out the faint sound of a violin every now and then. It seems almost out of place at first, but if you piece these strands together, you actually get a rendition of “Zelda’s Lullaby.” Though this easter egg is a bit hard to pick out at normal speed, tmo. also included his footage going at 5x the speed. In this sped-up version, it is much easier to hear the haunting melody in the background.

Make sure you check out the video above to hear the easter egg in action. What other secrets will Breath of the Wild hold? We’ll just have to wait two weeks and see!
