Last month Nintendo dropped the bombshell news that the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for Wii U will be Nintendo’s only playable game at E3. Nintendo’s entire show floor area will be devoted to the game in order to give fans with “complete immersion.” With the focus exclusively on a single game, Nintendo will be giving attendees extensive hands-on time.
Nintendo has started emailing members of the press with more information about the game’s E3 presence, revealing that there will actually be two extensive demos to try out. Most E3 demos only last in the 10-20 minute range, but Nintendo is encouraging E3 attendees to set aside around 90 minutes to get the full experience from the demos. As for the content of the demos, Nintendo teases that we’ll be able to “step into the wilds of Hyrule and explore some of the grasslands, forests and mountains that they’ve been given mere glimpses of to date.” The E3 show floor opens on June 14th.
